Are you damaging your health by just sitting there and looking at the screen?


Hi All,
A Recent study has found out that we slowly kill ourselves when we engage in a sedentary lifestyle, particularly , sitting for long hours and working on the computer. We specifically damage our Heart, our Brain and our posture supporting bones,ligaments and muscles as shown below



So, what is the solution to this? We all can't give up sitting !

Well , experts say the following really help

1. Every two hours , stand up and take a stroll, preferably to drink water, visit your cafeteria or go out just to breathe fresh air
2. Exercise Daily ! if you find that boring, Get a hobby-game! That is what I did ! Any game that moves your muscles will suffice, I suggest you play your favorite game in the morning if you have no time...it is more interesting than an exercise and sparing 15-20 minutes in the morning is much easier than in the evening..
3. stretch for 10-15 minutes, whenever you are free... I also suggest that you listen to music and dance/do aerobics to the tune as well ..if you are shy, lock yourself in a room, plug in your headphones and start to groove.. just dont try stunts and break your ligaments rather than repairing them  ! :D
4. Follow this posture while sitting




5. Deactivate your facebook account, you will automatically start getting more free time :P
try twitter instead, it's less addictive and more informative..
